Hormones and their role in a woman’s organism.

Hormones, certainly, play an enormous role in the organism of a woman...

From the moment of birth to menopause in an organism of a girl there is a number of changes in reproductive organs, nervous system and in the appearance under the influence of hormones. All of hormones, producted in the endocrine glands of an organism are united in a definition « hormonal mirror».

Hormonal mirror includes:

1. Hormones, characterizing the function of the reproductive system of a woman:

• Progesteron;
• Estradiol;
• Testosteron;
• Free testosteron;
• 17-oxyprogesteron;

2.Hormones, characterizing the function of thyroid:

• Т3 free(FT3);
• Т4 free(FT4);
• Tireotropnyy hormone(TSH);

3.Hormones of «youth»:

• DGEA;
• Melatonin

It is necessary to remember that all of hormones in an organism are united and violation in one of the above-stated groups will entail change in other group of hormones. A patient is often even unaware that violation in the hormones of thyroid can straight affect function of the reproductive system of a woman as violation of menstrual cycle, fruitlessness and other violations.

Taking into account the all above-stated, the necessity of determination of hormonal mirror of a patient becomes clear for the different periods of her life: early reproductive period, late reproductive period, in perimenopause, in a menopause period, in postmenopause. On the basis of the given results a doctor makes the hormonal passport of a patient. It is recommended to pass the first hormonal inspection in age of 18 years.
